In the past days, I’ve been reviewing lots of Internet marketing tools. In this article, I’m going to review yet another one of those tools, and I’d say this one is different.
Welcome to my Done-For-You Viral “Clickbait” Slideshow Websites review. Yes, that’s how long the product name is, which is quite frustrating.
Even so, the sales page got me hooked and curious to find out what sort of value it brings to its customers. So if you’re someone who’s looking to decide whether to buy this product, then let me help you out.
Can you make money with viral slideshow websites? How do these sites work in principle? Is it worth buying especially as a newbie?
Without further ado, let’s dive into this review.
What is Viral “Clickbait” Slideshow Websites About?
There’s a lot going on in the sales page, and it can be overwhelming to learn especially if you’re a beginner.
But in a nutshell, what you’re really getting is a ready-made website, that’s all there is. Now here’s how the sales page described and hyped this product:
- It contains slideshows with “clickbait” headlines
- It can go “viral” and generate lots of shares
- Floods of traffic will come to it
- It can make shiploads of money!
Allow me to enlighten your mind with how these claims work:
1. Slideshows with “Clickbait” Headlines – Buying the front-end package comes with 10 slideshows, which serve as the site’s content. They all come with powerful headlines (aka “clickbait”) that force readers to click.
2. Going Viral and Getting Social Shares – Because of these clickbait headlines, people are getting drawn in. If the content is highly-engaging and powerful, people will then share it to their friends, which causes a “viral” effect.
3. Generating Floods of Traffic – As a result of this virality, it’s possible to get hundreds or even thousands of readers per day. Not to mention, you’ll also get lots of pageviews because your content is in slideshow form.
4. Making Shiploads of Money – Because of massive pageviews, you can then bombard the site with lots of ads. You can place them either in the header, sidebar, after the content, or in the footer.
In case you’re wondering, what kind of slideshow content will you be posting? Here’s the list of niches you can choose from:
- Beauty Tips
- Consumer Tips
- Diet Tips
- Family & Parenting Tips
- Health & Fitness Tips (2 sets)
- Household & Lifestyle Tips
- Relationship Tips
- Sports & Recreation Tips
- Success Tips
All in all, there are 10 topics to choose from.
Purchasing Viral Websites: How Much Is It?
For all the set up and tools, expect to pay a high fee for it. The good news is, you’re only going to invest one-time, but the income stream of the website is passive, which makes it awesome.
FRONT-END: DFY Viral “Clickbait” Slideshow Websites ($85) – The front-end product will allow you to choose from 1 of the 10 topics offered in the sales page. Just beware that the website can become technical to set up especially for newbies.
UPSELL #1: Viral Slideshow Website Packs ($157, $227, $357, or $597) – If you want more slideshow sites working for you, then this upgrade will give you 2, 3, 5, and 9 more DFY slideshow websites, respectively. Getting the 9 websites deal will give you ALL the topics listed above.
UPSELL #2: Website Install Service Packs ($67, $197, $247, $357, or $577) – This upgrade is a service to help you install 1, 3, 4, 6, and 10 websites, respectively. For those who have upsell #1, the trick in choosing upsell #2 is to find the service that is one website higher than what you’ve bought. So if you’ve bought 3 slideshow sites in #1, then the upsell #2 to pick should be: 3 + 1 = 4 websites service pack.
Overall: This DFY tool can help you set up an income-generating website. If you don’t mind thriving on ads, then having a clickbait site is the way to go.
However, as with most products, there are some negatives I would like to point out.
One thing I’ve noticed is that slideshow sites don’t work well with SEO. Clickbaits thrive on social traffic because they tend to get lots of shares and cause a “viral” effect.
Furthermore, there’s no stopping the guy next door from buying this product, right? In this regard, you’ll end up competing with each other using the same content, which then causes a duplicate content issue (in SEO).
Another disadvantage I found is that some people HATE slideshow content. Personally, I hate slideshows myself because I have to load the site many times just to get to the point. I would bounce off the site if I come across one.
Now, can you imagine the millions of people who dread slide content as well?
So, is VSW worth it? Well, go ahead and give Viral Slideshow Websites a try. I don’t think it’s a scam at all because you’re actually getting a nice product. In the end, it’s what YOU do with it that matters.
Here’s Another Way to Make Money with a Website
One way to run a website is by bombarding it with lots of viral content. You can then capitalize on it by leveraging ads such as Taboola or Google AdSense.
However, there are better ways to monetize your website.
My personal favourite is affiliate marketing, which involves selling other people’s products in exchange for a commission. In this scheme, you don’t need to be viral to make loads of money.
All you have to do is target the right audience and send them to the right offers.
