Have you found Vantel Pearls interesting?
Coz’ for the record, it’s different from other MLMs or biz opps I’ve reviewed in the past.
It has to do with opening oysters and crafting jewelry from the pearls inside them.
Now, if you continue reading this blog post, I’ll show you what to expect when you dive into Vantel Pearls and start a business around it.
You’ll learn vital information such as what types of products it sells, how you get paid, how much it costs to participate, and whether the biz opp is legit or not.
By the way, I’m not affiliated with this company at all. So I’m viewing this program from an outsider’s perspective.
Even so, I’ve got 3 years of experience reviewing all sorts of money-making opportunities, ranging from total scams to super awesome programs.
In fact, I’ve tried several opportunities myself and lost money in the process!
This colorful experience I’ve had is the reason why I’m able to distinguish a bad program from a good program.
Now, if you’re interested to learn what I have to say about Vantel Pearls, then keep reading until the end.
Name: Vantel Pearls
Founder: Joan Hartel Cabral
Price: $99, $149, or $100
Verdict: Recommended, But Take My Warnings Below
What is Vantel Pearls About?
Vantel Pearls is unique in my opinion.
Probably because in my experience of reviewing MLMs, I’ve never encountered a company specializing in accessories and jewelries.
This is why I got excited to write a post about this opportunity and see if it’s any different from other MLMs.
Turns out, the theme is quite different but the opportunity is essentially the same!
Vantel Pearls sells jewelries and accessories, but like any MLM company, they opened up an opportunity for the masses to start their own income-producing business.
Now, the woman behind this 30-year old company is Joan Hartel Cabral, whom I think is very passionate about oysters and the pleasure of opening it in front of the masses.
According to the website’s About page, it all started when Joan returned from Hawaii with a gift to her niece. It was an oyster waiting to be opened.
When her niece opened the oyster, she was filled with wonder when she saw the pearl inside. This very experience inspired Joan to share the concept of oyster opening to other people.
And so Vantel Pearls was born.
Unlike other MLM companies which placed the business opportunity upfront, they instead highlighted the guiding principles behind how the company operates.
They call them Treasured Gems, which is an overly fancy term if you ask me.
After reading these Gems myself, I realized that Vantel Pearls isn’t that bad at all.
I just hope they’re not making these up and lying to their customers!
What Sort of Products Does Vantel Pearls Offer?
Obviously, Vantel Pearls specializes in jewelries and accessories.
The moment you browse the website’s store, you’ll immediately see the beautiful necklaces in their catalog:
But of course, there’s a wide variety of accessories you can purchase and not just necklaces.
Look at the left of the store and you’ll see how many more categories you can browse.
As you can see, there are necklaces, bracelets, rings, boutique items, chains, charms, earrings, and many more stuff you can choose from.
However, there’s a catch.
Any purchase you make in the Vantel Pearls store will require you to pass through a consultant first.
Whether you’re new to the store or already a regular customer, you’ll inevitably need them to have your desired accessory or jewelry delivered at your doorsteps.
And here’s why.
How to Order Vantel Pearls Jewelry
As it turns out, choosing a jewelry is only the first step in ordering from Vantel Pearls.
The next step would involve watching your consultant open an oyster in front of you so you could see the pearl inside.
This is probably the reason why you need a consultant in order to buy a product from Vantel Pearls.
The company claims that the pearls are genuine freshwater cultured pearls and were cultivated by oyster farmers adhering to high quality and environmental standards.
Well sure, let’s give the company the benefit of the doubt for this one.
After all, it wouldn’t survive for 30 long years if it were selling junk, right?
The next step in the process (number 3) is you discovering the pearl that’s inside the oyster.
The Vantel Pearls website has put up a Pearl Color Guide detailing each color’s symbolism.
They’re so fascinating to learn, that it makes me wonder if it’s actually possible to choose the color of the pearl (or we’re just stuck with the color we’ll get).
Anyways, the final step in the ordering process is having the Pearl Specialists hand-mount the pearl in your chosen accessory before it gets delivered to your house.
The way I see it, the unique value of Vantel Pearls lies in its beautifully-designed and well-crafted accessories, all while experiencing the wonder of opening an oyster and revealing the precious pearl inside.
And this my friend, is what you’ll be dealing with when you become a consultant of this company.
How Does One Start a Business With Vantel Pearls?
What I like about Vantel Pearls with regards to its business opportunity, is you can do it both offline and online.
One of the best strategies to market the brand is through Pearl Parties.
In the real world, you can train Hosts to run a pearl party for you. Vantel Pearls provides plenty of incentives for hosts to offer in the party.
And if the host performs well and generates party sales, he/she will be rewarded depending on how much he/she earned.
If you don’t like booking parties, however, you can run a live video on social media instead and host a pearl party from there.
But first things first, you must become a Consultant in order to take part of the biz opportunity and get paid for your efforts.
The two main ways to do it is either through a Starter Kit ($99) or a Pro Kit ($149).
The less known option for joining is by doing an oyster deposit, which costs $100.
Whichever method you choose, you’ll receive a handful of products and get exclusive access to business training and marketing materials so you can finally get rolling.
And before I forget, you’ll also benefit from the company’s lucrative commissions structure.
How Lucrative Are The Company’s Payouts And Rewards?
Vantel Pearls operates on a multi-level marketing business model (or MLM).
And with MLMs, you’ll have the ability to earn income from multiple sources without having to set them up one by one.
All you have to do is work hard, climb through the ranks, train your downlines, and become an influential leader.
Speaking of ranks, the 2019 Opportunity Brochure indicated the six levels inside Vantel Pearls:
- Star Consultant
- Silver Leader
- Gold Leader
- Platinum Director
- Pearl Director
As your rank goes up, the more earning opportunities you can get.
You can get higher commissions rates, receive payments from overrides as deep as 4 levels, and earn nice rank promotion bonuses.
Perhaps the best incentive you can get is getting recognized in the Annual Incentive Trip which features a different venue every single year.
And yes, all expenses are paid for you including airfare, accommodations, and more.
You also get to network with like-minded entrepreneurs, top leaders, and of course Joan herself.
I guess the opportunity is no different from other MLMs after all!
Verdict: Should You Venture Inside Vantel Pearls?
The rewards are promising for any Vantel Pearls consultant.
So does this mean you should participate starting now?
If you ask me my honest opinion, YES.
However, there are a couple of problems I see with the biz opportunity (not necessarily red flags).
For one, Vantel Pearls is an MLM company, which means its commission structure is designed to spoil the higher ranks.
So I won’t be surprised if some of you find the biz opp unfair especially if you’re a newbie.
You gotta’ work your way up the ranks first if you wish to stand a chance of succeeding in the jewelry business.
Speaking of working your way up, my make money online guide highlights key principles for building that much needed reputation on the Internet (you should check it out for guidance).
Two, it turns out Vantel Pearls is only for US citizens and residents.
Too bad non-US people like me cannot participate in the biz opportunity.
What this means for you, is that it makes your potential audience smaller and more limited unlike other MLM companies that operate worldwide.
Joan perhaps limited it in the first place to weed off people who might take advantage and tarnish the company’s reputation.
And of course number three, not everyone in the States will be inclined to buy accessories.
In fact, it’s a ‘niche market’ because only a portion of the population will be interested in buying accessories, mostly women.
And when you think of it, it makes the target audience way smaller than imagined.
Combined with the fact that you’re a newbie, generating a sizeable income from this company will surely be a rough ride.
But still, I like Vantel Pearls because it’s a pretty unique MLM in itself. Furthermore, there’s a great demand for pearls, which makes it perfect as your business niche.
Just make sure you’re willing to take the consequences before participating in this venture.
With the right attitude, there’s no reason why you can’t go full-time with a Vantel Pearls business (and finally ditch your 9 to 5).
Not Joining Vantel Pearls, But Interested In Residual Income?
I get it.
The Vantel Pearls opportunity is not a one-size-fits-all business.
Even so, I believe everyone deserves financial prosperity.
That’s why my advice is to keep looking for opportunities to generate residual income.
Try the Internet. I’ve used it myself for more than 3 years.
My bias is affiliate marketing, since it’s like selling a product but without owning any inventory.
Although you only get a cut of the sale (commissions), it saves a lot of headaches especially when you’re starting from scratch.
Unfortunately, most affiliate marketing gurus out there try to complicate the process.
When in fact, it can be summarized in just 5 simple steps.
