Social Ranker is a backlink generator that gets its links mainly from social sites. The end goal for buying this product is to rank higher in search engines like Google and reap massive amounts of traffic.
What’s special with this tool is you can “automate” the entire link building process. No need to register or manually type captchas. It starts grabbing backlinks as soon as you set it up.
To be honest, I’m very skeptical of traffic-generation tools, especially ones that generate backlinks. So I’d like to investigate further and discover the truth.
Is Social Ranker worth buying? Can you really rank in Google using this tool and start generating massive traffic on autopilot?
To understand Social Ranker, I suggest you read further.
What Can Social Ranker Do?
Social Ranker is one of those SEO tools claiming to boost your rankings high in the search engines. This results to massive amounts of traffic coming to your website.
The principle behind SR is to generate “social backlinks”, which is one of the best tools to rank your pages in Google. Seeing the sales page will give you proof of results getting first page rankings within 30 days or so.
In summary, here are the powerful features of Social Ranker:
Web-Based SEO Tool – You don’t have to install anything to run Social Ranker because it’s web-based. Just sign up and start adding campaigns in the members area.
Social Backlinks – You’ll get backlinks from over 200 high authority social websites like Digg and StumbleUpon.
Unlimited Campaigns – Other tools impose limits on the number of campaigns you can make. Social Ranker allows you to create unlimited link building campaigns with 95% success rate.
Multiple URLs (Tier 1 & 2) – SR allows you to spread your links over multiple pages and generate both Tier 1 and Tier 2 links. Hmm, I don’t feel good about this feature at all.
Link Automation– The best way to generate backlinks is by automating it. Social Ranker does automated signups, captcha solving, proxy usage, and detailed reports so you can sit back and let this software do the job.
Video SEO – Also, your video content can benefit from social backlinks especially when you embed them in many social sites. This boosts the rankings of your videos.
Built-In Pinger – SR allows you to ping backlinks via 24 different ping services almost instantly.
Whitelabel Reports – These reports are helpful to show proof that a backlink campaign was made. This is perfect if you do SEO for your clients.
Drip Feed– Creating backlinks is done moderately, that’s why this feature is helpful for drip feeding your campaigns. It will allow you to slow down the link building process so you don’t get penalized by Google.
Here’s How Much It Costs (You Might not Like It)
For those who are interested in Social Ranker, you can grab it for a one-time fee of $147. Originally, it had two price points, one being a monthly subscription of $27 and the other being $147.
Another red flag I saw is how the payment processing redirects to peopleperhour.com instead of JVZoo (which is more trustworthy). So if you don’t feel risking it, I suggest staying away from this tool.
Overall: Social Ranker MIGHT help you get rankings in Google, but it’s not a guarantee that you’ll keep the rankings for long. One reason is because links generated from this tool is not natural at all (although the sales page claims it is), which makes you prone to getting penalized.
If you still want to take the plunge, be ready to pull out $150 from your wallet and use it in a different platform than JVZoo. It’s not my responsibility at all if you lose it.
In general, I don’t feel comfortable recommending products that automate backlinks as opposed to naturally generating them. I doubt that your visitors will be as responsive as the ones whom you generated from a highly reputable source.
And no, the 200 social sites mentioned are not popular at all, compared to the bigger sites like Google and YouTube. So how do you expect to get targeted traffic from those places?
Anyways, if you wish to pursue SEO as a way of getting free traffic, I recommend doing it right and naturally so your business thrives in the long-term.
Learn to Do SEO The Right Way
There are two types of SEO: Black Hat and White Hat. Black Hat SEO involves using shady techniques that manipulate Google rankings. White Hat SEO involves natural strategies that are done in moderation.
You always want to stick with the latter and never with the former. White Hat can go a long way in your rankings and ensure you always have a steady stream of traffic in your website.
I admit, I haven’t made a lot of money yet as an Internet marketer (just over $100). But I can assure you, the people who bought from me ALL came from Google.
Bottomline, search traffic is the best way to start making money whether you’re in affiliate marketing or product selling.
