Name: My Lead Gen Secret
Founder: Jim Harmon
Price: $30 One-Time + $30 Per Month
Verdict: Fair, But Does Not Guarantee Success
What is My Lead Gen Secret?
My Lead Gen Secret only has one purpose: to give you high-quality leads to make money from.
More specifically, these leads are ‘personal information’ of people who subscribed to Jim Harmon’s list through his private sources.
You’ll get info such as: first name, last name, email address, IP address, and the date when the lead was acquired.
Hmm… I suddenly got skeptical.
It feels as if I’ve seen this system before.
Both opportunities offered customers the ability to partner with a man named ‘Bobby’, who’s willing to lend his massive subscribers for free.
Too bad, I reviewed them and concluded that they’re both scams.
Well, does it mean My Lead Gen Secrets is a scam?
I think it’s too early to conclude.
Anyway, the man behind MLGS is Jim Harmon.
From what I’ve learned on Google, Jim is a real guy and successful Internet marketer.
I even discovered that his MLGS is the #1 best rated lead source out of 117 sources back in 2018
And seeing the sales video, he explained his lead generation system very well.
He tackled the concept of a ‘funnel’ in the sales page.
In a nutshell, a funnel is basically the process that people go through before being introduced to your product or offer.
It usually starts with a lot of people at the top, since they’re the ones building the ‘awareness’ in your business.
Those people are then being filtered down the funnel via a qualification process.
The ones left are what you call ‘qualified leads’.
Lastly, from the list of qualified leads, they’ll then be introduced to your paid offer, whether it be an affiliate offer or your own product.
As you’d expect, out of the majority of traffic coming in from the top, only a few of them will turn out to be customers.
The role of My Lead Gen Secret is to give you leads that will pass through your funnel.
How My Lead Gen Secret Works
Getting into the specifics, how does this lead-generating system work then?
It’s quite unique, since you won’t be using the traditional email autoresponders (like AWeber or GetResponse).
MLGS has it’s own CAN-SPAM compliant mailing platform that will send emails for you.
Something which makes me very skeptical.
Why won’t they allow us to import the list of emails manually?
Why use their platform only?
I understand if it’s for simplicity’s sake, but I would prefer a tool which is flexible when it comes to options.
Since for my case, I wanna’ take control of the email leads I’m getting.
Speaking of email leads, Jim says he’d be giving you 100 leads per day for 30 days, which totals to 3,000 in one month.
As long as you continue to be a member of MLGS, you’re getting a steady influx of these subscribers to your mailing platform.
For the pricing, it will cost you a one-time fee of $30 for the mailing platform set-up, then $30 per month for the leads.
So for your first month, you’ll be paying $60, then $30 in the succeeding months.
Running the math, this averages to $1 per day or $1 per 100 leads (or 1 cent per lead).
All in all, here’s what you’ll receive with My Lead Gen Secret:
Sounds like a great deal, isn’t it?
Verdict: Is MLGS a Trustworthy Source of Leads?
My Lead Gen Secret will simplify your lead generation process.
That’s why I can see it as a ‘somewhat good’ program to try.
However, it’s still up to YOU on how you’re going to monetize your newly-found list.
Jim might have given you an approximation that you can earn 1 sale per 100 leads.
But remember, he never told you which products you’ll promote to achieve that conversion.
He only mentioned the leads are interested in Biz Opps and Internet Marketing. But heck, there are THOUSANDS of products in this huge market!
You’re going to have to sort them out before you can promote stuff.
If you’re like me, you’ll choose offers from places like Warrior+, Clickbank, or JVZoo.
Those places specialize in ‘make money online’ programs and are perfect if you wish to become an affiliate and monetize your list.
I know because I’ve promoted them before.
I bought traffic that’s somewhat similar to MLGS, called solo ads.
But this traffic source cost me $30 per 100 visitors to my landing page, netting me around 30 to 50 leads to my email list.
Sadly though, I failed to monetize the list (I was only successful in the initial offer) and I ended up losing money because I didn’t have a good strategy right from the start.
Bottomline, there are ‘no guarantees’ when your leads don’t really belong to YOU!
Jim even placed a fine print at the bottom of the checkout page:
Success depends on your ‘willingness’ to convert the leads into buyers, and it’s not free money at all!
The guy’s only making things simple for you.
If you’re going to exit this page (and read someone else’s review), please be warned that they may be ‘biased’ to promoting it.
I recently discovered that Jim placed a lucrative affiliate program for people to promote My Lead Gen Secret.
From what I’ve read in the compensation plan, it appears that it was set up as a multi-level commission structure, similar to that of MLM companies.
In other words, affiliates earn money from several levels below them.
If that’s not enough to warn you, Jim also holds a weekly contest that will pay affiliates $100 for every 5 new sales they bring into the program.
Now it’s starting to look like an MLM scheme, don’t you think?
Overall: You can go ahead and try My Lead Gen Secret. If you’re not satisfied anyway, you can always leave because you’re not binded to a contract.
But don’t tell me I never warned you regarding the quality of the leads!
Remember, many people are also signing up to this program, hoping to earn a profit from the subscribers they’ll get.
Which means you’re competing head on with these list owners as well.
Find MLGS Too Advanced? Here’s An Easier Alternative
Sorry to say…
But if you’re not sure what to do with the traffic and leads from this system, chances are you’ll mess it up.
Like I said, when I practiced solo ads back in 2018, I was only able to build subscribers and make sales upfront.
But beyond that, my results were ZERO.
Remember, you’re paying Jim $30 per month to get leads, so it only makes sense to have a strategy to monetize them for your benefit.
Unfortunately, strategies are not usually available to the complete newbie.
Like, do you know how you’ll mail your list?
Do you even know ‘email marketing’ in the first place?
If the answers are no, best if you skip My Lead Gen Secret.
And if you’ll allow me, I’ll share with you an easier alternative.
This alternative to making money online will teach you the fundamentals of Internet marketing.
Don’t worry, email marketing is also covered in this program.
In fact, the program is not just about training.
It’s training, tools, community, and priceless support all in one place!
You should try it for yourself, since no credit card is needed to get in.
You can get inside the platform for FREE and you can stay for as long as you want:
