Overall Rating: 40/100 (Scam)
Upsells: $100; $250; $500; $1000
Today I’ll be focusing on a business opportunity called Easy 1 Up, owned by Peter Wolfing. His products look interesting, but we must proceed with caution and not get hasty with buying into the system.
How does the training work? How will you make money from it? How much are the products? Who is Peter Wolfing? Is it a legitimate money-making scheme or not?
I’m afraid it might not be worth writing this review. The reason why is because Easy 1 Up is one of those sites that could shut down at any time because it’s an illegal scheme. But still, I’ll be finishing this post so you’ll be informed and not make a terrible mistake.
Without further ado, let’s get started!
An Overview of the Easy 1 Up Products
If you’re looking for a program you can join to make money online, Easy 1 Up is one of those companies. It’s a lucrative opportunity with members earning commissions ranging from $25 to $1000.
Each of these price points is actually the cost of the products available in the website. So without further ado, let me introduce to you the 5 product packages as follows:
1. Elevation ($25) – is the initial entry product which teaches network marketing basics and setting up your affiliate business
2. Elevation Elite ($100) – teaches you how to market your products through various mediums such as YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, and Google Plus
3. Vertex ($250) – is full of advanced digital marketing stuff such as developing your mindset, list building, traffic secrets, and affiliate marketing survival
4. Vertex Elite ($500) – is a high-end product showing you how to build a business live, plus additional strategies on traffic generation
5. Vertex Pro Connect ($1000) – is the highest value product at Easy 1 Up, covering jampacked topics such as using Whats\App, Instagram, Reddit, Linkedin, Tumblr, Google Hangouts, and more
Not only that, each one of these items has an additional 10% fee which goes to the Easy 1 Up admin. So if you buy the $100 item, the total price to pay is $100 + $10 = $110 in total!
Overall, I see some value in the resources provided by Peter Wolfing, but I’m not fully convinced. I’m sure you can find independent tutorials of these concepts for FREE on Google or YouTube. What you’re really buying here is the opportunity to promote the product to others.
In fact, you cannot join Easy 1 Up if you don’t sign up under a sponsor.
How Does the Compensation Plan Work?
Now let’s talk about the payment system at Easy 1 Up, which I think is interesting to observe. If you plan to promote any of the 5 products, it’s important to note that you must buy the membership first to get the commissions in that level. Or else, it will get passed to your sponsor (your recruiter).
Moving on, Easy 1 Up operates on a “reverse 1 up” compensation system. It’s called that because you’ll pass your 2nd referral to your sponsor.
For example, you recruited 5 new members to your team. Here’s the distribution of those people beneath your level:
Member 1: Yours
Member 2: Sponsor
Member 3 onwards: All Yours!
The same thing will happen when these 5 people obtain their 2nd referrals, they will all go to you. Whichever product they buy will be your earnings, provided your membership level is equal or higher than what they bought.
Are there any other ways of making money in Easy 1 Up? I’m afraid there is not. As you go up the value ladder, the more you have to focus on promoting the business to others to get your money back. This my friend is called pyramiding.
Something’s Not Right with Peter Wolfing
As I was trying to find information about the owner, Peter Wolfing, I realized that he owns multiple companies, such as:
- Infinity 100
- Business Toolbox
- Turbo Cycler
- National Wealth Center
- Pay Me Forward
- and more
Well, what’s the catch? If you do a little bit of research, you’ll find out that they’re all MLM companies with fairly sophisticated compensation plans. The way you do business is by inviting members into the system, hoping they would buy the membership products offered.
I must warn you right now, if you have a bad impression or experience with MLM, Easy 1 Up is not the business opportunity for you.
Often, the affiliates who invite you will do everything that they can to get you to sign-up. They’ll offer bonuses, show their 4 to 6 figure earnings, make overhyped claims, throw lots of e-mails in your inbox, send SMS messages, and even invite you in real life!
Personally, I don’t like this tactic of doing business. I want to be able to have multiple flows of income like selling affiliate products or advertising space, not just on the sale of acquiring referrals.
Overall: You can make serious money from Peter Wolfing’s Easy 1 Up system. Let me remind you though, it will take a lot of time and effort before you make money regardless of the company you choose. MLM schemes have a bad reputation especially online, so it will be hard before you can convince someone to join under you.
But at the heart of the program, is a business that relies on new members paying for products. With the 10% fee, Peter will surely make money. But can you earn money as well?
I don’t know about you, but MLM products don’t look good to me. The chance of Ponzi-looking schemes being taken down is significant. If you’re a beginner, you’ll be prone to getting scammed and you won’t make your money back.
Bottomline, I want you to stay away from Easy 1 Up, for it’s a:
Start a Truly Legitimate Online Business
A lot of so-called gurus treat the MLM business model as if it were affiliate marketing. However, they are two different things.
I’d rather go for affiliate marketing because it’s a sustainable business which you can massively scale up. You find several products or services, promote it in your website, and make lots of affiliate sales. Every one of these promotions corresponds to one stream of income.
In the beginning though, you have to work hard on a consistent basis to really grow your business to massive heights. There’s no easy money on the Internet, but when it comes, it can be extremely rewarding.
