Verdict: Fair, But Earning a Full-Time Income is Very Difficult
What is AppCoiner? In a Nutshell
AppCoiner is an opportunity for making money that involves testing apps.
After testing, you write honest reviews of the apps via AppCoiner’s review website.
In case you’re wondering, “Why would AppCoiner do such a thing?”
According to their website, new apps are in dire need of reviews.
That’s because app developers struggle to get attention in a sea of bigger and more popular apps.
After all, app developers are geek people.
They’re not marketing experts who know how to sell thousands of products like a boss.
To solve this problem, YOU will provide the marketing for their new apps.
And it’s not that difficult to do.
Chances are, you’ve been exposed to hundreds of apps before, haven’t you?
So why not monetize on that expertise simply by giving feedback?
As you can see above, you can write wherever country you’re in.
You don’t need to be a pro writer.
And all you need is a smartphone or tablet.
Once you’re a member, you’ll be doing a set of tasks to help the app developers.
Well, what do you think?
Sounds legit enough?
Coz’ here’s the good news.
You’ll be rewarded for the work you’ll do inside AppCoiner.
In fact, the website has prepared a handy calculator to compute your potential earnings.
If you play with it long enough, you can come up with pretty big numbers.
That’s why you shouldn’t use it too much.
Coz’ you’ll end up fantasizing on the money.
Instead of doing the real work!
Speaking of work, I’ll show you how you can get started next.
Getting The Job: How to Start Working on AppCoiner
So, are you interested in the job?
If that’s the case, then let me guide you through the application process.
It all starts by typing your name and email address in the sign-up form.
Upon doing this, you’ll be shown more info about the work.
If you’re not interested and try to leave the page, AppCoiner would have another sign-up form popping up on exit.
Which is somewhat annoying for some (who’s allergic to pop-ups).
As you can see, the exit pop will pull people back in.
Especially those who are on the brink of joining.
With that aside, let’s suppose that you applied for the job and typed in your details.
You’ll be taken to another page, where it says that your spot is reserved for the membership.
You can read the entire page if you want.
But at the bottom of the page, you’ll see something frustrating.
A price tag of $27 to join AppCoiner!
As it turns out, AppCoiner is NOT free of charge.
I don’t like it when a company charges you money to join a work opportunity.
You haven’t yet started, but you’re already spent.
Schemes of this nature are near the borderline of scams.
So be careful my friend.
But let’s investigate further.
Clicking on ‘Activate’ will take you to the checkout page, which is hosted by ClickBank.
You can scan the checkout page if you want.
If you’re keen enough, you’ll notice a tiny checkbox close to the order button.
This is called an order bump.
It’s a tiny offer that has the tendency to nudge buyers to grab it.
You can call it an ‘upsell’ if you want.
Coz’ in the end, it adds up to your main purchase of $27.
But remember, you don’t have to take this offer at all!
Are you done scanning the page?
If so, let’s leave.
And lo and behold, another exit pop interrupts our exit.
The page is offering a 10% off for anyone who tries to abandon the page.
Coz’ AppCoiner is really forcing us to become a member.
So they can grab our money!
Making Money With AppCoiner: How the Process Works
According to the calculator, a single review is worth around $5 to $30.
It would appear as if every review could give you a guaranteed pay.
As if you’re getting a steady paycheck.
However, this is NOT true!
AppCoiner does not pay you out of their pocket.
The company only serves as a bridge between you and the app developers.
AppCoiner provides you with tools and a website platform to work on.
Then it finds you app developers whom you can work with.
But again, the company does NOT give you any paycheck.
Your revenue would come from the website you’re working on.
Which in turn, comes from a company called Popular Reviewer.
For instance, here’s how a typical Popular Reviewer site looks like:
There are 3 ways for this to make money.
The first one is through the advertisement in the header:
The second one is through the advertisement in the footer:
And the third one is a sign-up form, where subscribers will be promoted gaming-related offers.
Now, these money-makers contain several affiliate links pointing to different ClickBank products.
Provide your ClickBank affiliate username, then AppCoiner will handle the rest.
But truth be told, you won’t make $5 to $30 per review.
The calculator is just trying to deceive you.
To make you believe that you can earn a lot of money.
But here’s the good news.
The way I see it, you CAN make money with AppCoiner.
However, your main problem will be traffic.
If you don’t bring enough people to your Popular Reviewer website, you’ll struggle to earn a full-time income.
Since no one will click on your offers.
And no money will be made.
A Few More Concerns
I would like to bring up a few more concerns with joining AppCoiner.
For instance, what happens when Popular Reviewer goes down?
You see, people who sign up for AppCoiner will be given a website hosted on PR’s subdomain.
So a typical URL would look like: https://johndoe.popularreviewer.com (thumbs up for their SSL!)
But what if something happens to your website?
Simple. Your income will be GONE.
The people behind AppCoiner have absolute control over your content.
So even if you work hard bringing in traffic,
All that effort can disappear without warning!
Another problem I see, is that there are no income proofs of people succeeding.
Only testimonials of a few people recorded in a video.
In this day and age, such testimonials are easy to forge.
Some of the biz opps I review outsource to Fiverr for as low as $5.
The most nagging problem I have with AppCoiner,
Are the founders themselves!
Coz’ there’s NO MENTION of them all throughout the website.
Let me ask you…
Would you be comfortable working on a company whose founders are unknown?
If you ask me, I’ll immediately back away.
And look for opportunities elsewhere.
Overall, AppCoiner is not a scam.
There’s definitely an opportunity to make money through this website.
However, I don’t feel confident of recommending it.
Since you’ll be writing reviews and promoting hard through someone else’s website.
Which can be taken down at any given time!
If you’re gonna’ write reviews anyway, allow me to suggest a better alternative.
Write App Reviews For Yourself
I’ve been in online business for over 2 years.
And one thing I like about it is having full control.
I can’t imagine exerting a ton of effort in my business,
While receiving little to no benefit at all!
So although I can pay 27 bucks to participate inside AppCoiner,
I can’t (even though I love playing games!)
In the end, I still prefer hosting my own website.
And placing all my content inside it.
I would rather create my own gaming review site so I can position it for success.
Unlike the Popular Reviewer websites I’ve seen, which all looked the same,
My unique website can potentially look a hundred times better.
And a hundred times more trustworthy!
Do you want that too?
Are you interested in starting a beautiful review site that makes a lot of money?
One that can bank you a full-time income?
If yes, then look no further!
Here’s the platform where I created my websites.
And where I learned how to drive traffic to those sites:
Has anyone tried AppCoiner? Have you made real money from this venture? I’d be happy to know your thoughts, so just leave a comment below 🙂
